Terms of Service
The terms on which ObservatoryOS is provided.
Last updated 29 October 2026. These terms apply to business users of the ObservatoryOS service.
Who we are
ObservatoryOS is operated by Cardiff Giant Ventures Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 12322092. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean Cardiff Giant Ventures Limited. References to "you" mean the business user of the service.
Registered office: Unit 12 Green Park, Coed Cae Lane Industrial Estate, Pontyclun, CF72 9GP.
Eligibility
ObservatoryOS is a business-to-business service. It is provided to organisations and to individuals acting in a professional capacity on behalf of an organisation. It is not offered to consumers.
You confirm that you have authority to agree to these terms on behalf of your organisation, and that your organisation will ensure its users comply with them.
Account and access
You can create an account through the sign-up page. Paid features need an active subscription. Each subscription covers one named user (one seat).
- You are responsible for the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials
- You must keep account details accurate and up to date
- You must tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised
- Access is for your organisation's internal use only and may not be shared outside it
Acceptable use
When using ObservatoryOS you must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the system or other users' data
- Interfere with the availability, security or integrity of the service
- Scrape, resell, redistribute or publish the content of the service without our written permission
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of applicable sanctions
- Misrepresent the service's outputs to third parties as predictions, recommendations or professional advice
Subscriptions and fees
The Standard plan costs £49 a month including VAT, for one seat. Payment is taken in advance each month by card through our payment provider, Stripe. The subscription renews monthly until cancelled.
You can cancel at any time. Your access continues to the end of the period you have paid for, and part periods are not refunded. See our cancellation and refund policy at /refunds. We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
Data in ObservatoryOS is gathered and reviewed by hand and is not updated continuously. Some content includes labelled sample data.
Intellectual property
All intellectual property in ObservatoryOS, including its models, methodology, content and branding, belongs to Cardiff Giant Ventures Limited or its licensors. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your internal business purposes during the term of your subscription.
You retain all rights in the context and configuration data you provide about your organisation.
Confidentiality
Each party will keep the other's confidential information secret and use it only to perform under these terms. This does not apply to information that is public, already known without restriction, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law.
Your organisation's Observatory context is treated as confidential and is used only to configure and interpret the service for you.
Context, not advice
ObservatoryOS provides context. It does not provide predictions, recommendations, financial advice or professional advice of any kind.
The system reads macro conditions and interprets them through your decision context. Conditions change before outcomes do, and the service does not forecast outcomes. Its outputs describe conditions and their interpretation.
You remain solely responsible for your decisions. Nothing in the service is a recommendation to take, or refrain from taking, any action, and it should not be relied on as financial, legal or other professional advice. Obtain advice from a qualified professional where such advice is required.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work to high standards of evidence sourcing and interpretation, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any condition reading will prove accurate or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss of profit, revenue, anticipated savings, business opportunity or data, and for indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence. Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Termination
Either party may terminate the subscription at the end of its term in accordance with the order or agreement. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you materially breach these terms, including the acceptable use rules, or if required by law.
On termination, your right to use the service ends. We will make your organisation's context data available for export for a reasonable period on request, and then delete it in line with our retention policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
